What We’ll Cover

During this challenge I will guide you in:

✔ Permission to nurture - A common belief is that self-care is selfish, when in fact, the opposite is true. It is so often ourselves, not our external circumstances, that hold us back.

 Connection - Maybe you feel you have lost connection to yourself and you have forgotten to nurture number one? This is your time to reconnect, body, mind and spirit.

✔ Strategy - We'll introduce pranayama exercises to manage stress, change, low mood and negative thoughts giving you the tools to stay balanced.

 Self care - yoga is the perfect example of self care that works on all levels. We'll explore why self care is important and what practices speak to you as a unique soul.

✔ Reflective practice - ain’t nobody going to save you but you! We'll finish by reflecting on the challenge and the benefits and insights that you can take through.

Who am I?

Ah, one of the more interesting questions in life :) I’m Becky, I am a certified yoga facilitator, massage therapist, aerialist, blogger and energy worker. I have a degree in anthropology which informs my understanding of people on a holistic and evidence based level and underpins my work toward positive change.

I have taught in multiple capacities - in studio, 121, online, at yoga teacher training courses, events, rebellions, hen do’s - the lot!

I have been practising yoga daily for more than 9 years and it is safe to say it is a gift that will be with me for life. Yoga was integral to a time of deep positive change and continues to support me along every step of this beautiful tapestry of ups and downs we call life.

My work is in inspiring self-worth, self-compassion and deep inner-strength. My research is informed by disciplines of positive psychology, self-compassion studies, shadow work and my offerings shaped around student feedback and scientific research.

What is clear, is that we all have the tools already inbuilt to be content and balanced. Our minds and bodies are fully equipped to self-regulate and manage trauma. The problem we face as a global race is that we have lost connection to our source, ourselves and each other. We live in a society that does not promote preventative and self healing practices. It is time to evolve from dependency, to empowerment and the freedom of self-reliance.

I believe that positive change comes from within. First we must find love and contentment inside ourselves, then we can offer our light and talents as meaningful contributions toward a balanced, positive and inclusive future.

Personally yoga helped me take control of my own happiness. I was depressed, engaging in toxic activities that I thought made me feel good, and consumed by negative thoughts and low self-esteem. My yoga journey has transformed my entire life, outlook and opinion of myself. It snapped me out of negativity and empowered me to take healing into my own hands and frankly, to look at my shit! I’m forever grateful.

I am here to support your journey to reconnect you to yourself, explore what truly serves you and how to nourish your soul to bring about a confident self-reliance, stability, balance and deeper understanding of who you are to allow you to shine your unique and radiant light with the world.

I want you to feel where I’m coming from and why I am doing this. This is about so much more than business! This is about positive change and teaching the skills to self-nurture and build self-worth from the bottom up. From that point, everything changes!
